Week Seventeen: Finis

The end of the semester is finally here, and my work as a practicum student has come to a close. However, I plan to continue volunteering at the Local History Department for as long as Mona will have me. I have learned so much from my time there, and I would hate to stop when there is so much left to know! Thus, I plan to update this blog with information on future projects, so please continue to check in to see what we are up to in the Department!

In addition, I have begun data collection for my archival certificate paper. So far, the project is going well, and I have managed to review more than 300 manuscript collections in hopes of finding materials from the African-American community. I am very, very excited to see my results and report them in my paper.

While my work this week mainly consisted of data collection, I was able to snap a few photos of the archive. I thought I would share them now since I have not shared any in the past. Enjoy!

Until next time,
